I am a qualified, experienced and insured Holistic Therapist (since 2002) and a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental and confidential therapy service.
From a very young age I had a growing interest and knowledge of using natural remedies, such as essential oils, Homeopathy, massage and herbal remedies to improve health and relaxation. I have been influenced by both my grandmother who was a Homeopathic Doctor and my mother, who inspired my love of all things natural.
For over 30 years I have worked within health & social care and educational settings. I have met a diverse range of people who have shared with me their life experiences and made me aware of their psychological, physical and emotional needs. This has encouraged me to explore and learn more innovative/holistic ways to reach out and support people to live their happiest, healthiest lives.
I was inspired watching a BBC documentary exploring the Immune system in January 2021. It confirmed that deep tissue massage has been proven to improve generation of T cells in the body, improving the immune system by up to 20%.
2020- 2021 has been a difficult time for us all. The world has been full of worry and confusion, fear and isolation. You may have experienced many issues during this time including difficulties with sleep, depression, and anxiety, stress, or hormone imbalance and may have sadly suffered loss. I myself have felt the impact of such a sudden and dramatic change to our lives and have never been more focused on the use of essential oils to ease and comfort. As a woman experiencing menopause my particular favorites are Clary Sage and Geranium, peppermint has also had a significant role in keeping hot flushes at bay.
