This GTi Body Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment, massage techniques and a full body massage routine.
The GTi Body Massage Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All twenty-one of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

Six of the modules will also be assessed by giving you one day practical training at Birmingham Holistic training Centre.

Practical Module attending at Birmingham Holistic Health Centre 19th November
On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi Body Massage certificate which is acceptable for insurance purposes with The Guild of Beauty Therapists.
Massage can help clients to de-stress, improve circulation, and reduce pain. Providing a massage treatment can be both beneficial to the client and the therapist and can lead to an incredibly rewarding career. The GTi Body Massage course covers massage techniques, a full body massage routine and the preparation you need for the treatment.
This course requires both theory and practical training. You will study the theory online, but you will be required to attend our accredited training Centre for the practical training for one day

This is required for you to attend the body massage course and once you have this, you can apply to other courses you may want to attend Once you have completed the theory modules, a practical session code will be displayed on the final module which you can pass on to us to say that you have completed Then you will spend up to two days in our clinic where you will apply the online theory you’ve learned and turn that into a practical experience day taught by one of our fully qualified Tutors When you have successfully completed your practical training with us your tutor will pass you and a GTi Certificate will be available for you to download or purchase on your portal.

Day one: 10 am – 6pm

Up to 9 hours of practical experience will be taught depending on the learning capability of the students to demonstrate that they have understood the practical teaching of body massage, The practical days will only be run if 2 students have booked onto the days and if not then we will defer the day until at least 2 students are enrolled We have a maximum of 6 students on this course

Once enrolled onto this body massage course, you will receive a free Professional Standards for Therapists online course worth £58.80 – FREE of charge
