Doña María and Don Elmer (son of the extraordinary Shipibo Healer “Mama Selmira”) are Maestros healers from the Amazonian “Shipibo” nation. In the wonderful ‘green’ world where this beautiful couple lives, nature and its sacred Amazonian spirits are truly everything–including the mystical Gods who blessed their sacred union Maestros Healers.

Birmingham Holistic Centre is proud to be one of the very few places they’ll be visiting in Europe. In our healing sanctuary, our Peruvian Maestro Healers will lovingly share the deep ceremonies and healing sessions taught by their ancestors and healing elements given by the spirits of Mother Jungle Amazon.

Doña Maria & Don Elmer will be staying in Birmingham Holistic Centre for two days, to help people find healing for any traumas, sorrows and illnesses that people carry with them from their time in the womb, or even before.

On Friday, 19th May, starting from  8 AM, we’ll host Private Healing Sessions with Doña Maria & Don Elmer, where we’re going to witness the unique healing ceremonial, as they will invoke their Ikaros (sacred songs)  to get connected with the healing energies from the Amazon.

The deep healing session will also use natural healing elements, such as Sacred Tobacco-Mapacho, natural plants, seeds, flowers, and other tools that they will bring from their Amazon.

“The Astral Journey” Full Day Seminar
Saturday, 20th May – From 10 AM to 5 PM
Cost £120 per person

According to the Amazon Shipibo Maestros, the impurity of our Astral Level can directly influence our traumas. This is reflected in our character, feelings, emotions and actions. It can often lead to a negative chain of fear, feelings of rejection, guilt, anger and specially to disease.

In this workshop, you will learn about Shipibo wisdom, experience healing through sacred Ikaros songs and the use of Wild Tobacco-Mapacho, and receive a small painted design on your face or chest made from natural Amazonian paint. This paint enhances spiritual restoration and is non-permanent, lasting up to 7 days before it naturally fades away.

The Maestros will lead group cleansing dances and teach the importance of these dances and Ikaros songs. Remember to wear light clothing that can easily be opened in the chest and belly area, bring a towel, blanket, sandals, and warm socks. Participate in a day of spiritual renewal with the ancient wisdom of the Shipibo people.

“The Spiritual Path” Full Day Seminar
Sunday, 21th May – From 10 AM to 7 PM
Cost £120 per person

Join Amazonian healers Doña Maria and Don Elmer for a deep cleansing of your life energy. The spiritual level is a crucial part of our energetic body and is located in the solar plexus. During this workshop, you will receive a ceremonial painting ritual on the solar plexus designed to bring balance to your masculine and feminine energies.

Doña Maria and Don Elmer will lead a workshop to cleanse the emotional and mental levels of the body through sacred painting and ceremonial rituals. You will learn about the Amazonian Shipibo teachings as Doña Maria applies natural Amazonian colors to the chest and front face to help remove impurities and heal traumas.

This paint enhances spiritual restoration and is non-permanent, lasting up to 7 days before it naturally fades away.

The cleansing process will also include singing of Ikaros and smoking of cleansing pipes with Wild Tobacco Mapachos. Participants should wear light clothing and bring a towel and blanket for comfort.

Watch the the sacred designs painted on the front face (part of the mental level) and/or chest (emotional level) gradually become visible as Doña Maria and Don Elmer sing healing Ikaros and perform prayers, which aim to bring balance to our masculine and feminine energies and help purify our emotional and mental bodies. The designs and prayers work together to promote spiritual healing and restoration.

The Maestros will also teach group cleansing dances guided by Ikaros songs.
